Patients interested in insurance-based care may be directed to Headway for insurance verification and scheduling prior to establishing care. Please do not include highly sensitive clinical details by email or voicemail.

Common Questions Before Reaching Out

  • Yes. Appointments are currently offered by secure telehealth for patients located in Virginia. Limited in-person appointments may become available by request once office space is finalized.

  • Constellation Psychiatry & Wellness provides care for children, adolescents, and adults ages 6 and older.

  • Select insurance-based appointments may be available through Headway, a third-party platform that manages insurance eligibility, billing, and claims. Private-pay appointments are scheduled directly through Constellation Psychiatry & Wellness. Self-pay clients may request superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Yes, when clinically appropriate. Treatment may include psychiatric evaluation, diagnostic clarification, medication management, supportive psychiatric counseling, and whole-person treatment planning.

  • Controlled-substance prescribing is determined case by case and only when clinically appropriate. Additional assessment may be required, including records review, rating scales, collaboration with other providers, Prescription Monitoring Program review, or an in-person visit when clinically indicated or required by applicable law or regulation.
